PTI, the leading mental health organization in Baton Rouge, LA, focused on healing minds and innovating healthcare, grew rapidly from its founder’s initial vision. However, this left them stuck with a name that didn’t truly represent who they have become or all the various ways they impact their clients’ mental health. Additionally, their branding and website were holding them back from marketing their most important offering – Telemedicine (VPN™). The Design The Planet solution? …A new go-to-market strategy, a brand refresh, and a comprehensive website re-planning. Nothing was going to stop these people from reaching those who need vital services to function at their optimal best!

Long before COVID-19 and the pervasive acceptance of Telemedicine, PTI was developing innovative healthcare to help their patients across Louisiana. Starting as a small group dedicated to treating PTSD and other “Post Trauma” issues, demand for services forced PTI to evolve and scale up to treat the full spectrum of mental health conditions affecting adults and children from all walks of life. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Lawrence Salone, PTI pioneered their own Virtual Psychiatry Network™ = VPN™ so they could help individuals get the care they needed. Dr. Salone soon realized many who needed PTI were unaware of the services they provided. So, when PTI was ready to take their marketing to the next level, they chose Design the Planet to help them update their brand, develop strategies, and build communications systems to market across Louisiana.

Rebranding of PTI:

After 5 years with the original logo, we re-planned and designed a new identity that was more clinically focused and represented the broad offering of PTI.

Using the look and effect of the updated branding, we designed a brand-spanking-new-website. By working closely with PTI ownership and medical staff, we created a better approach to their UX by improving navigation, adding images representative of the diverse population PTI serves, and strategically placing info-links and CTAs where appropriate.

We also needed to find a way to spotlight  VPN™ and educate visitors on:

  • how easy it is to utilize
  • how to get started
  • how the technology worked.
By integrating custom illustration and video into their website, we were able to help PTI improve client communications and education outreach about innovative healthcare solutions and delivery.

During COVID-19, PTI’s success is riding on our digital marketing strategies, multi-channel messaging, and client-communication techniques. While some providers are struggling to safely bring patients and clients back for care and treatment, PTI has experienced success by fully utilizing the updated systems we provided.
