Design the Planet starts its 10th year in business in 2008. As a part of our celebration we have updated the Design the Planet brand and all the materials associated with it. Our new website is a true collaboration between all the members of the Design the Planet team. The updated brand and web site have been in development for eight months.

Shaun the Recycling Sheep (see 7|15|07) makes a cameo on the new Design the Planet stationery. Keep an eye out for surprise visits from Shaun when you least expect it. (Hint: He's on our new letterhead.)

Design the Planet was recently recognized as a “New Orleans Best Place to Work” by New Orleans CityBusiness at a banquet at New Orleans Sheraton. Look for the special insert in the December 17th issue of City Business.

Design the Planet recently received several awards, including our second International W3 Award and three International Davey Awards for our web design and identity development. Our design of the Girl Scout's Southeastern Louisiana Council website and our logo design for Tropical Rain were both honored.

Design the Planet's summer intern, Geoff, illustrated a sheep between projects. The sheep was dubbed "Shaun" and quickly became the office mascot. Shaun now heads the Recycling Department and can be seen in the lower right corner of our website.
